நம்மிடத்தில் இல்லாததைப் பிறரிடத்தில் காணும் போது இயல்பாகவே மனம் ஏக்கம் அடைகின்றது.  ஆனால் இந்த விசித்திர மனித மனம் எப்பொழுதும் எதற்காகவாது ஏங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இது ஒருவரது குணாதிசயம் அல்ல மனித மனத்தின் இயல்பு. நாம் பல முகமூடிகள் போட்டு மறைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம், ஆனால் உள்ளுக்குள் இது தொடர்ந்து கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறது. ஏங்குபவர் யார் என்று அறியும் வரை இது தொடர்ந்துக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறது.   மனதின் இந்த வாசனைகள் ஒரு ஜென்மத்தோடு மட்டும் சம்பந்தம் உடையதா? இவை மொத்ததையும் விட்டு விலக சில ஜென்மங்கள் ஆகலாம். ஆனால் இப்போது இந்த பூமியை நினைத்தால் தலை சுற்றுகிறது. 100 ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து நினைத்தால்?! First of all a big thanks to Krishnaji 🙏 Usually, the mind is chattering without any reason.  •One thought might start slowly, and it just expands like a flowing river. •If we notice, thought is always of the past, it projects the past into the future. Thought is necessary for factual and technical entities, but not for psychological entities. •We might start to work but we are easily distracted by a notification on mobile or an email and get drowned in it. •Awareness of the mind and thoughts implies, attend to each and every movement in and around us and slowly the thoughts and being aware of the distraction that is taking place, without condemning or accepting it. •Awareness is quite different from concentration and introspection, as, in concentration and introspection, we intend to focus on a static thing or a thing of the past, but awareness implies choicelessly becoming aware of the movement around us and our thoughts and hence our mind.

ஆசை இல்லாத உள்ளமே கோவில்

 ஏறக்குறைய நவம்பர் மாதம் நிறைவுப்பெற போகிறது. நாமும் இந்த மாத முதல் நாளிலும், மத்தியலும் இரண்டு மூன்று முறை இந்த மாதம் பதிவு எழுதுவதில்லை என்று கூறிவிட்டு பல பதிவுகளைப் போட்டுவிட்டோம் 😂. எழுத வேண்டாம் என்று நினைத்தால் தான் சில வித்தியாசமான நல்ல சிந்தனைகள் ஊற்று எடுக்கின்றன.  இதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம் மனம் சார்ந்த பதிவுகளை பொது வெளியில் போடும் அளவிற்கு நமக்கு தகுதியும், பக்குவமும் உள்ளதா என்ற தெரியவில்லை. மனதைச் யார் சற்று உற்று நோக்கி இருந்தாலும் இதைப் போலவே நிச்சயமாக உதித்து இருக்கும், இருப்பினும் அவர்கள் அடக்கமாக, அமைதியாக இருக்கலாம். ஆனால், இச்சிந்தனைகளின் நறுமணத்தை நுகர்ந்தப் பிறகு இதை நம்மோடு வைத்துக்கொள்ள மனம் வருவதில்லை, அதன் காரணமாகவே முகநூலிலும், சுட்டுரையிலும் பதிவு இடுகிறோம். உண்மையில் அமைதியை சொற்களால் விவரிக்க முடியாது. அமைதி படித்து தெரிந்து கொள்வதல்ல, உணர்ந்து புரிந்து கொள்வது. அமைதியாக இருக்கவே விரும்புகிறோம், அதற்கு மேல் இறைவனின் விருப்பம்!!

 Can we live for a few moments or a few minutes or a few hours, if lucky for a few days, without identifying ourselves with anything?! Not a single image about us, our name, our background, and so on. Where there is not a shadow of the self, there is real beauty.

 நாம் எந்த கரையில் நின்றாலும், நிற்கும் கரைப் பச்சையாக இருப்பினும், எதிரில் இருக்கும் கரை மேலும் பச்சையாகத் தெரிவது, மனதின் இயல்பான மயக்க நிலை.  உதாரணமாக, நாம் ஒரு உணவகத்திற்கு சென்று என்னதான் நெய் ரோஸ்ட் ஆர்டர் செய்து உண்டாலும், நம் எதிரிலிருப்பவரோ, அருகில் இருப்பவரோ இட்லி சாப்பிட்டால் அந்த உணவே மனதிற்கு பெரியதாக தெரியும்.

Emptiness of mind brings happiness, an empty mind without thoughts is always joyful. Please remember, it is easy to carry an empty bucket, than a bucket full of water.  One may write or say about this easily, but oneself is also immersed in thoughts as we write this.

Mr.PV Narasimha Rao, the name many people might have heard as one of the former prime ministers of this country but not much about him and his tenure, we were also of the same pattern till 3 years back. We have recorded a few times here about him, but with all gratefulness, we must record some of the key points when we remember him, especially the 90's and 2k kids must be much grateful to him, for the sophistication we have today.  We often call or tell ourselves that we are feeling lonely! But in reality, are we ever lonely?! We are always accompanied by one thought or the other, at times multiple thoughts gushing through. Also, loneliness is quite different from aloneness.   In fact, happened hear from one of Krishnaji's talks that the etymology of the word 'Alone' is 'All One'.  

 Whenever something or the other goes about the farmers, this has been going through one's mind. Most of the people concerning or almost everyone is trying to solve the farmer's woes only momentarily. But rarely we have noticed the input cost that has been rising for the farmers. Water will be stored in a vessel only if it is not porous. Similarly, only when the input cost is kept optimal only when there will be a good margin for the farmers.   Rarely do we talk about the diesel prices about the farmer, which has steadily gone up, which in turn increases the input cost of the farmer, taking the produces to the Mandi and so on, the chain goes on.    The increase in import cost of fertilizers which the government also is paying a huge sum and hence it is eating up the government's foreign currency expense.  Only one state in our country is fully organic, Sikkim, but then itself is a big journey it can't be done overnight, then it will have its implications, as we are seei

 "Thought can never be sacred", this statement by Krishnaji is absolutely true, if one realizes and see the fact of this it will be clearly evident.  A meaningful life is more important than a successful life!!  Thought usually becomes aware of the vanity in our thinking a few seconds or minutes after the flow of thoughts have taken place, which is still a product of thought. But to be aware of the vanity as soon as it arises without reacting to it is total attention. The quality of attention to thoughts is like a flame that evaporates the ego, just like when the water is heated at high temperature for a longer time evaporates completely to steam.  குறையைக் காணும் இடத்தில், குறையே கிடைக்கும். நிறையைக் காணும் இடத்தில், நிறையே கிடைக்கும். ஏனெனில் நம் மனமே நமக்கு கண்ணாடி!!

 Thought can make a good advocate, but can never be a good judge

 Life is like a river that flows, but when we try to hold on or possess a moment, either bad or good it distorts that flow. When we just let it flow, that is joy in each moment.

 First of all, one wonders why Jiddu Krishnamurti is not much known or made to know in this country, as much as he should be, but let us leave that to destiny. But for some reason, one had an urge to write some pointers from his teachings. Essentially Krishnaji himself has mentioned clearly in his talks that he doesn't want anyone to be attached to his teachings, interpret or conceptualize it in fragments and also mentioned he has no specific form of teaching except as acting as a mirror to see oneself clearly, but when one is able to see Oneself clearly, one can through away the mirror (his talks, dialogues). Also, he has mentioned clearly, listening to his talks for many years doesn't make one divine or something. One feels there are four types of people in the way they approach life and we will see some pointers. 1) His talks, dialogues, and writings may not be optimal for people who are already leading a life of contentment, absolutely devoted to God with full faith in God

 சில சொற்றொடர்கள் ஒரே அர்த்தைக் கொடுத்தாலும், அவை கூறும் முறையில் கூறபவர் இயற்கையாகவே எதிர்மறையானவரா அல்லது நேர்மறையானவரா என்று அறிந்துக் கொள்ள உதவுகிறது.  உதாரணமாக, எதிர்மறை சிந்தனை உள்ளவர், "பொய் கூறவது இல்லை" என்று கூறுவார். அதுவே நேர்மறை சிந்தனையாளர், "உண்மையைக் கூறுகிறேன்" என்று கூறுவார். 

 One wonders how much percentage of the people in this world are utterly silent, not the silence of the mouth, but the total silence of the mind. The mind always wants something to cling on for the moment and the chattering starts towards it, after a few days or a week, the thing which the climbed looks utterly unimportant.  Interestingly, this is not the behavior of one human mind, but all human minds behave the same way, though the entities may be different. Is it possible to quieten this mind?! When one tries to quiet it through effort or will it, the chatter comes back stronger and more subtly than before. The basis of the current civilization is, essentially to escape from this constant chattering of the mind but without finding a permanent solution to this. As there is a proverb, "An idle mind is a devil's workshop", so the capitalist or the communist or the centrist or any propagandist has their own ways to keep the mind and body of the people to be occupied accord

எண்ணங்களின் ஓட்டமும் ஆறுகளின் ஓட்டமும் ஒன்றாகத் தோன்றுகிறது, ஒரு சிறிய புள்ளியில் தோன்றி, ஒரு பிரவாகமாக உருவெடுக்கிறது! இன்று எண்ணம் பிரவாகம் எடுத்ததோ இல்லையோ இவன் மடிக்கணினியில் எறும்புகள் தான் பிரவாகம் எடுத்தன, மழையின் ஈரத்திற்கு, மடிக்கணினி தான் இதமாக உள்ளது போலும் 😂. இந்த பிரபஞ்சம் சற்றே விசித்திரமானது, நாம் எதை எழுதினாலும் அதையொட்டி எதாவது நமக்கு தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது. அதிலும் ஒரு அற்புதம் ஓரிரண்டு எறும்புகள் பிரவாகம் ஆகி 100 ஆக ஆவது என்பதற்கு பின்னால் இருப்பவர் யார்?! சொல்அற சும்மா இருப்பதே சுகம்!!

 சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பு தனித்தனி பருக்கையாக உள்ள அரிசி, மாவாக அரைப்படும் போது ஒன்றாக ஆவது குறித்துப் பார்த்தோம்.  அதேபோல், வெல்லம் கட்டியாக உள்ள போது ஒன்றாக இருக்கிறது, அதுவே தூளாக்கினால் தனித்தனியாகப் பிரிகிறது. அதேபோல் தான் நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒரே அண்டத்தில் இருந்து உருவாகி, தனித்தனியாகப் பிரிந்து இருப்பது போல் தோற்றம் அளிக்கிறோம். ஆனால் அவ்வெல்லத்தையே மீண்டும் சூடாக்கி பாகு ஆக்கினால் உருகி ஒன்றாகிறது.   இதை குறிப்பதாக நமக்கு சிவபுராணத்தில் ஒரு வரி நினைவில் வருகிறது, "நீராய் உருக்கி என் ஆருயிராய் நின்றானே".   இதை நாம் கிருஷ்ணா ஜி கூற்றுப்படி உணரும் போதும் ஒரு தெளிவு ஏற்படுகிறது, "A fragment can never understand the totality, but totality can understand the fragment".   உண்மையில் நாம் சற்று உன்னிப்பாகப் பார்த்தால், சூரியனும், மழையும், எந்த இயற்கைச் சார்ந்த எந்த ஒன்றும் பலன் கருதி செயலை செய்வதில்லை, அன்பின் வெளிப்பாடு அதுவே.
