Embracing AI

Today, there is more discussion all over the world about the rapid evolution of AI especially among the middle age group. Some people are scary of it and some people want to embrace it. There is a famous saying, "Everybody wants change, but no one wants to change". Wondering when the use of calculators and slowly computers were evolving, most certainly people would have spoken about them also in the same tone. It might take away jobs so and so, it is the next big thing. If we look back in hindsight, the calculators and computers have increased human productivity, only thing it has made the human brains dull in certain ways. Though it might have replaced certain jobs, but if we take a simple use case the billing is still done by a human, the calculators and computers enable to it more accurately and efficiently. Similarly, AI could also be a great enabler for humanity, the relativity of human dependence might come down in some areas, but it should go up in other areas to make...

Focus and Productivity

The lesser the browsers you have opened, the more productive you are. Might have referred to this anecdote earlier in the blog, but still, when we juggle between thoughts too fast we don't see anything clear, just like when we tune a FM radio too fast all we hear is only the disturbance, but when we tune it down slowly we arrive at the right channels.

Generations and Forms of Cricket

Get a feeling that the 2K kids might consider life as a T20 game, as things for them appear in a click.  The 90s kids might consider it has an ODI game, kind of mild wait and sudden surges.  On the other hand, the people born before that especially in India might consider life as a test match.  In reality, though T20 and ODI may look attractive from the outside, the test cricket is what tests the physical and psychological capability of a cricketer. Similarly, life, in the long run, is like a test match, at times you to play out a few sessions out with grit, for many easy sessions shall come to us post that.  A request to readers, to leave feedback on this!

Possession and Personality

When a woman or a man marries, does she/he marry the person or the possessions that accompany her/him? Though it may sound a bit direct, this is directly proportional to the depth of the relationship.     In reality, certain minimum possessions are necessary outwardly to lead a life. If one may look into this deeply, it can be clear that beyond the outward superficiality, it is the personality connect from within that enriches the relationship.

90's kids the focal point of different transitions in India

In this article we are going to interpret the different transitions that have happened in India, post-liberalisation through the prism of so-called 90's kids, specifically the middle band of the '90s (1994 to 1997) with background about their predecessors. People born in '40s,'50s :   First, we will try to understand the lifestyle of people born in the '40s, '50s of the 20th century in India. Those days the houses weren't electrified except a few, and the mobility between places was not much. The means of communication was typically through in-person meetings (or) through messengers. Gradually they moved onto postcards (or) inland letters after middle age (late 20's). There was no television but only transistors that too shared ones in a street, Most of them from were an agricultural background for occupation. They lived in a slow and steady lifestyle, typically in the countryside with a lot of sharing practices amongst them. People born in '60s,...
