Things that this guy realized - Part 7

1.        When the 'Me' disappears 'Clarity of Thought' appears   2.        Truth shall prevail   3.        When the 'You' dies, the 'Me' also dies. What is beyond the 'You' and 'Me' ?   4.        Mastery arrives when the doer ceases and the doing alone exists   5.        You need not have an opinion on everything   6.        Ego is about who is right. Truth is about what is right. ~ Mike Maples   7.        We often judge others behaviour, but become advocate of our behaviour, once we reverse this our life becomes automatically better   8.        Where there is comparison, there is discrimination. Be as you are.   9.        A good citizen need not be ...

Thoughts

Thoughts the one entity which engulfs man all the time. Like the rivers originate from a small point, but expand and flow exponentially, at least the path, flow, and destination of rivers are defined. Whereas for the thoughts we don't understand the exact origin, the path, the flow nor the destination where we are taken to. We get lost in the thoughts and get carried away. The author feels it is rather unnecessary to go into the quantum of thoughts that we have each day, but wants to understand the proportion of, how many thoughts that we get into are realistic, and how many thoughts we convert into action in actuality? Just like the clouds on the sky, the thoughts are never static and are temporary. But very rarely the sky is without clouds, similarly our mind is always preoccupied with the thoughts, with one thought giving way to the other endlessly. Is there a beginning or an end for thoughts? Well as long as we are focusing our mind outwardly, there is hardly any chance to unde...

A sustainable and dream budget for now and ever

1) Incentivising organic farming: Ensuring that at least 100 villages per state are made organic completely every year and accelerate it each year. 2) Increase spending on R&D : For any country to be self-reliant in the long run, its R&D stands as an important factor.  3) Cut excise, cess, etc., taxes on fuel : Fuel is an integral part of the economy. Starting from the farming cycle, fuel plays a key role, a farmer uses a tractor during harvesting/farming then takes the produces to the nearest storehouse. The carrying vehicles need fuel and from there to various markets at long distances, the lorries that transport need fuel. And the end-user who buys these products needs fuel to drive to the markets. So at every stage from input to output, the increased fuel price eventually results in higher inflation. Instead, if the excessive tax on fuel is cut, people have more money at hand leading to increased spending on other commodities, which can result in higher revenue for the ...

My memories with MS Dhoni

My memories with MS Dhoni : In December 2004, during a half yearly holidays in my high school he came in as a fashionable young wicket keeper, had seen many specialist keepers come and go in that period such as Parthiv Patel, DK, Ajay Ratra, Deep Dasgupta, so was not having any awe in him and getting a run out in hurried manner wasn't an impressive first showing. Was ignorant of the facts behind then, that he came from 3 centuries with India A in Kenya. Slowly as the days progressed, one rainy noon on the summer of April 2005, came back from an Annual exam to see India scoring more than 300 runs in the ODI against Pakistan in Vizag, from the scorecard saw that there was a change in batting order with MS Dhoni at 3 scoring 148 runs at a quick pace, but even then didn't have an awe in him. Days progressed through 2005, near a Deepavali day I was having a holiday, there was an ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka, the series was already decided with India had won it comfortably al...

The deserved PM for Bharat Ratna

The nominations are open for the Padma awards for 2021. This would mark the 30th year of Economic reforms. It would be great if the government awards Bharat Ratna to the former PM, PV Narasimha Rao, one of the most underspoken PM. Consciously feel if not for the economic reforms of liberalisation in 1991 reducing monopoly, implemented through by then Finance minster Dr.Manmohan Singh and effective economists and bureaucrats then, most of the 80's and 90's kids wouldn't have a sophisticated life today and almost 20 crore people are lifted out of poverty in the 30 years. But it was equally important to credit the then Prime minister PV Narasimha Rao, for his political direction and craft, disguising the change as a continuity, to get the consensus. Though the manufacturing, agriculture and educational reforms were left behind, which we are still looking to reform. But India took away with services sector. Some interesting facts, PV Narasimha Rao announced the retirem...
